Earnings per share increased to Tk4.51, while the non-bank financial institution’s non-performing loan ratio fell to 4.09% from 4.71% a year earlier.
IDLC Finance PLC reported a 17% year-on-year increase in consolidated net profit for the third quarter of 2026, with earnings per share (EPS) rising to Tk4.51 from Tk3.85 in the same period last year.
According to the company’s financial statements approved at a board meeting yesterday (27 October), consolidated net profit after tax reached Tk206 crore for the quarter ended 30 September.
The company’s annualised return on equity (ROE) rose to 12.24% from 11.39% in the third quarter of 2025, while return on assets (ROA) increased to 1.51% from 1.48%.
On a standalone basis, IDLC’s customer deposits stood at Tk116.93 billion, while its loan portfolio totalled Tk120.45 billion.
The company’s non-performing loan (NPL) ratio declined to 4.09% from 4.71% a year earlier. Its provision coverage ratio stood at 110%, reflecting provisions against potential loan losses.
IDLC said the group’s performance was also supported by its subsidiaries: IDLC Securities Limited, IDLC Investments Limited and IDLC Asset Management Limited.
Commenting on the results, IDLC Finance Chairman Kazi Mahmood Sattar said the performance reflected the company’s forward-looking financial management approach, combining sustainable profitability with prudent risk governance.
Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer M Jamal Uddin highlighted the company’s focus on business expansion and sustainability, as well as improved returns across its asset base.
