SK Trims’ loss narrows to Tk11.94cr on higher exports, cost controls

In a major operational boost, its net operating cash flow per share (NOCFPS) surged into positive territory at Tk1.01 for the nine-month period, rebounding from a negative of Tk0.53 recorded in the previous year.

SK Trims & Industries reported a significant reduction in losses for the first nine-month of 2025-26 fiscal, supported by stronger export revenue and tighter operational cost management.

In a delayed submission of its quarterly financial statement during the July 2025 to March 2026 period, its net loss declined to Tk11.94 crore with a loss per share of Tk1.41.

At the same time of the previous year, its net loss was Tk18.72 with per share loss of Tk2.21 during the period of July to March 2025.

Regarding the improvement in losses, it said, the negative EPS has improved due to increase of the export revenue and reduction in the company’s manufacturing costs and operating expenses.

As a result, the net loss after tax decreased compared to the corresponding period ending in March 2025.

The company stated that the improvement in cash flows was driven mainly by higher cash collections from turnover during the period.

In the 2024-25 fiscal, SK Trims & Industries reported a net loss of Tk28.17 crore and decline in revenue to Tk28.43 crore, according to its auditor’s report.

The report said, a primary driver of the operational disruption was a significant delay in the renewal of the company’s bond license, which stemmed from internal administrative mismanagement and procedural oversights. Because the company’s operations heavily rely on the bond facility, this lapse in the timely renewal immediately disrupted exports and imports schedules, the report said.
