BSEC launches new official website for smarter investor services

The Bangladesh Securities and Exchange Commission (BSEC), the regulator of the country’s capital market, on Sunday launched its new official website with modern features to provide investors, stakeholders and the general public with improved, easy and effective information and services.

The new website was formally launched under the leadership of BSEC Chairman Masud Khan and Commissioner Tanwir Habib Rahman.

Through the new website, the general public will be able to easily view and collect BSEC’s laws, enforcement actions, press releases, tender notices, important office orders, lists of registered stakeholders, and IPO/RPO prospectuses along with other commission-related information.

Besides, various services and service-related information of BSEC will also be easily available on the new website, enabling investors, capital market stakeholders and general service recipients to know about their necessary information and services swiftly and easily.

In particular, it will act as an important source of information in receiving service-related information, according to the press release.

The new website has been developed in line with the modern websites of world-renowned capital market regulatory organisations.

It has incorporated an improved cyber security system, a modern user-friendly interface, and facilities for easy access to information and services, enabling investors, capital market stakeholders and general service recipients to know about their necessary information and services more easily and swiftly.

Above all, the new website will play an important role in accelerating BSEC’s ongoing digital transformation activities alongside ensuring transparency and accountability in the capital market, ensuring free flow of information, and expanding services to investors.

With the new website coming into operation, BSEC’s previous website has been closed from today.
